'Inside the Stables' hosts four
online platforms. You can click on each to learn more about each one of them.
'Inside the Stables' also offers workplace programs that provides the relevant support, training and assistance to employers, managers, freelancers, volunteers, job seekers and employees.
We run two main programs, consisting of:
HICCUP (Horse Industry Career Choices 4U & Parents) for
job seekers, teachers, parents and students;
AND
PREP (Planning, Resources, Energy & People) for
managers, clubs, organisations, event organisers, volunteers and employers.
Some of the key industry workplace issues can be summarised as follows:
Recruitment – finding the horse enthusiasts who want to work in the industry.
Training – providing sound, practical education and training which ensures competency, communication, integrity, professionalism and safety.
Management – helping the employers to recruit, induct, support and efficiently manage a team of workers.
Retention – creating structures and incentives to create longevity in a positive workplace.
